Primus' 5th full length album "Tales from the Punchbowl" features some of the best drumming from Tim Alexander ever recorded, particularly on the track "Over the Electric Grapevine" which I believe is my favorite Primus song of all time, which is saying a lot about that song as I like many a Primus song. In 1996 when the Cornelius Boots Trio existed, I was at the peak of my Primus fandom: somehow this was the most appropriate song of theirs for us to cover, although of course the classic Trio arrangements of "Pumpkins" and "Surfin' Soviet" came indirectly to us through Primus as I discovered them through Les Claypool's Prawn Song record label, thanks to the fine folks at the Princeton Record Exchange, who were smart enough to actually file all Prawn Song releases under "Primus."
